Right as title says I have around £500 - £700 to play with on buying a new base tower.
I haven't been keeping up on the PC front for a long time now so im completely stumped as to what is good now and what isn't.
As for my PC at the moment - I can salvage from it:
Case
Hard Drives
CD / DVD DL Writer
PSU - 620W Corsair - The red one
Sound Card

So all I will really be needing is:
Mobo
Graphics Card
RAM
Heatsink

I do want it to be overclockable and I don't want quad core.

Cheers

What screen do you have?

And what Case? If you're case is some cheap thing, I'd advise spending some of the savings on a better one.

No it isn't a cheap case. Well wasn't when I bought it - Tsunami Dream. And the monitor is a 17 inch samsung CRT. Are ATI considered better than NVIDIA now ?
