Would a intel k g3258 socket lga 1150 be ok in this build? I know it will fit but i dont think i will be overclocking it though do to heat issues. Is it a big drop from the i3 4150? Just trying to save a little extra.

The issue with the pentium K is the motherboard. While a lot of people can use that H81 board to OC some can't.. To be 100%, you'll need to go for a Z97 board.. Which is expensive.

Its a risk willing to take.

Just checked the Z97 boards way to expensive for my budget. I have checked some reviews on people using the H81 board with the G3258 and they seem to be having no trouble with it. Think ill take a chance on it.
