Build for high quality recording / streaming.

Hi,

My PC is going on 5/6 years old now and I would like to start recording / streaming some games.

I've recently played Sea of Thieves (which isn't hugely demanding) and that works fine on max but when I tired to record it using OBS the quality kept dropping.

In regards to upgrading with the age I'm not sure if it is just easier to buy a new build.

I would like to say around £1000 would be my budget but I do want to be able to game and stream / record so not sure if that budget is to low.

Any suggestions?

This is my build (untouched) form when I first made it.

new gpu, 16gb ram and a drop in 3770k overclocked should do it fine.
although with spectre/meltdown, its unlikely that the z77 series will have the microcode updates released by the mobo manufacturers, unfortunately.
so need to balance that with dropping a load of cash on a full upgrade.
