ime thinking of makeing a shuttle from Shuttle XPC SN78SH7 barebones system and am unsure what else i will need to get it going. only need it for media as not pc gameing anymore.

Hi, what is your budget? You say you only need it for media, are you storing media on it? Playing Blu-ray, worried about audio quality?

Bare minimum would be:
AMD Athlon II X2
2GB DDR2
160GB SATA HDD
DVDrom optical

Are you planning to make it a step up from the rig in your sig, move parts across or just cheapest?

move parts tbh, dont want blueray yet pointless as i havent got hd tv yet. its mainly for music so sound is very important. just wanted an idea on what parts it would need as its just says barebones.

The Shuttle comes with a case,motherboard and PSU.
