Build help!

Following on from this - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=17093872#post17093872

What would be a good CPU, RAM and motherboard upgrade? Just trying to work out my options. Not looking to spend too much, £300 tops (may be tempted to spend more, not sure atm). Plus it needs to work with my H50 cooler. Would probably be looking for an Intel CPU and Asus motherboard.

I wouldn't change anything tbh. You have a good system there which should last you for ages still. I would wait and see what's coming up next year.

Yes, I would agree. Seems a lot cheaper to just replace my broken motherboard. Would be a lot more money for little performance gain.
