hello i am looking to build a PC but i do not know the best products to get. i know what case i am wanting to build it in and a few things which i would require in the build such as:

8gb of memory
bitfenix shinobi white
i5 processor

but however i need some help with the other things like motherboard, CPU, PSU, GPU, Storage.

i have a budget of £500 for the computer without the screen keyboard and mouse.

i would like to use this computer for gaming, editing and general use really.

i would like the mobo to be 1155 socket. so could you all help me please and suggest parts or a full list of parts i could get for my build for £500

it would really help me out.

Yeh it is possible, if you want a bad computer or are happy with second hand items, and without a decent GPU.

i managed to find this lot for 515 without the case but i have spoken to parents and they said they would buy the case.

what do you all think?

If you dropped the aftermarket cooler, it would save a bit of money, but not allow you to overclock as high.

The reason i picked that one was because it is an overclock able version. It can reach 4.5Ghz quite easily. This will increase your CPU performance by a fair bit and in turn last you a lot longer. I have the previous gen chip and Overclocked it makes a great difference, for no further outlay.

You don't but it will increase performance and usually keeps the CPU going for a few more years than a non overclocked one.
With a simple air cooler a 4.4Ghz overclock can be made. This is about a 20% performance increase.

*sigh*
