hi just got my parts with my order i got a civetta cpu cooler do i need to apply my own thermal paste ? thanks

The cooler comes with a small sachet of paste.

Small pea size on the middle of the cpu then spread out with toys finger in some cling film, you might need to add a little more if needed (not too much, just enough to cover the cpu)

see my seasonic powersupply it only has a fan on one side. shall i have this facing down the fan or the fan pointing towards the mb

Does the case have a vent which allows the PSU to fresh in if it does I would do it this way.
