Hi guys, ive been tasked to build this pc for a friend who had a budget of £1100 and today the products arrived! So i thought it would be nice if i showed him what i was doing as i went along and thought i may aswell share the log with anyone else interested rather than sending hundreds of emails. So I hope you enjoy and following are the specs!

Processor: Core I7 920
Motherboard: ASUS P6T SE
GFX: BFG NVidea GeForce 295 (against me suggestion to go for the ATI 4890 which is less than half the price)
Memory: OCZ Reaper DDR3 6Gb
PSU: OCZ ModXStream-Pro 700w modular
Hdd: Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12P
CD/DVD: Sony DRU-870S (not that anyone cares which CD drive it is)
and finally OS: vista basic

Pics to follow in next post!

UNPACKING!!
Apologeies for the somewhat blurry pictures at some points, i cant seem to hold my hands still enough and this camera doesnt have image stabalisation, but most of the time i can use a mini tripod and its all gooood!

Well here are the boxes as they arrived:

Well packaged by OCUK as always! How they fit a whole system (bar the case) into such a small box i will never know!

And here we go..

The BFG beast. Expensive but with a lifetime warranty it's probably worth it

The NZXT Apollo case.. theyve decided to go "Alienwareish" on their design.. i prefer my Crafted Guardian 291 but this is still more attractive (to me) than the ever popular Antec 300 which is around the same price and size.

good luck with the build, ill be looking towards how far you can overclock it with that mb, some reason cant get mine past 3.8

Well first things first mobo into case:

Are you taking with flash off = blurry pics?

But good spec.

I'd return that (unopened) copy of Vista & download Windows 7
