Just starting this off as its my first mITX build. Originally I built everything into a BitFenix Colossus however the amount of space it takes up its just ridiculous so I'm in the process of downsizing everything into something much smaller.

From a Colossus to this:

Yep, one of OCUK's very own custom painted Prodigys.

Spec:
I7 3770S
Gigabyte B75N mITX (currently M.I.A)
8GB Kingston Hyper X Genesis
Powercolor r9 280X
OCZ Vertex 60GB SSD
2x Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDDs
Superflower 550w 80+ Gold PSU
Corsair H100 cooling system

I've also nicked one of the big 230mm fans from my Colossus and put it in the front and added a blue Bitfenix Alchemy strip as well.

The spec isn't amazing I know but for the little bits of gaming I do it works just fine. I don't play any of the latest titles so don't need loads of power (I was almost debating a switch to one of the APU's and then color coordinating with red and black but decided to stay with Intel and blue)

Once the motherboard makes an appearance I'll be putting it together, probably will take longer than most builds as I'll have to really consider the build properly to keep the system cool.

While waiting in for the rest of the day for the motherboard to turn up I decided to set to and start prepping the case to begin installation.

The finish on the case is very impressive, a good quality paintjob and the black interior is very well done. The blue is a little darker than shown on the website but in some respects this is probably a good thing as it means its not too garish.

The HDD flex cage has been removed (to fit the 280X) and the remaining cage rotated to help with cable management. The case itself comes with a 120mm fan in the front. I took this out and have added one of the 230mm ones from the Colossus to improve cooling. I have also had to take out the 5.25" cage in order to fit the H100. The Alchemy strip will be fitted to the top of the case. There is no window in this but hopefully there should be a nice blue glow from the ventilation areas.

I'm reluctant to start stripping my existing system down until the motherboard arrives as I don't want to be left without a working system!

Interested to see how you manage the cables on this. I recently did a build in one of these case and even with a modular PSU I struggled. I also ended up sticking the side panel on upside down so the front panel cables weren't strung across the motherboard.
