______________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to another build, this build is going to be focused on performance and art, the best of both worlds. Along with that it will also have the viwers choice of parts. Each item (within reason) will be posted before purchase as a poll to see which is most liked by the community. I will post the results of each poll and then move onto the next item once purchased. Each Entry request will be posted on the first page of this thread as a poll, and after a week or two of voting I will go out and order the parts, obviously this does have a budget and I will take request from you guys and discuss the best options or alternatives if the item is too pricy.

Documentation

I will be taking as many pictures as I can, as well video logging the entire process and posting that on my youtube page and submitting it for you to see. I am learning how to take better and more detailed and helpful video so I can pass on the education I have received from you and my experiences to others.

Methodology

I am hoping that once I am completed this build it will be a flagship build for me encompassing all the custom work I can do and show off my talents for color schemes and innovative creativity. If you want more pics I have archived pics on the whole build from start to current state :)

Looks bling, nice! :)

Thank you I've put a ton of thought, heart, money and time in on this ultimate build :) feels good to be nearing the end:D

Looking good. Lots of black and gold themes inspired by the MBX TJ build you have pictured above on the forums lately.

Nice to see a break from the norm colours!

Lol your telling me! I'm so sick of red and black builds now, I wanted something unique as well never done before, 2x420 rads in a 750d, I get to say I'm the first ;)

Very very nice, looks clean and oozes quality. Well done Darwing, makes mine seem untidy :D

I confused though, the first image in your log isn't the same rig is it? It looks like Murderbox MkII from MDPC-X. Did you do that also?

The top pic is the murderbox mkII built, it was my inspiration to build this as well make it better then that ;) once I get the acrylic and custom sleeving it's going to blow it out of the water :D

Thanks guys I have a ton of other pics on my build log and of course everything is documented in video :) I'm so happy with the waterblock choice and how it's all coming together, can't wait to get the acrylic tube and fittings in there :)

Thanks for explanation and welcome to OcUK Forums anyway.

Really looking forward to seeing your changes, I'm moving mine over to hardline as well soon. Being a big fan on the "Midas" look I'm biased of course :D

Thanks for sharing it with us...

Man that build log is awesome! you did the same with the Rads painting the logos how did you paint yours? I really like what you have done there and that mobo is pretty pimp to :) I took off the asus badging from mine ;)

thats a sweet build man, Im pretty much doing the exact same thing hahaha I'm going to use the MDPC vanilla sands custom sleeving on mine mixed with black :)

Very nice project.
I love this motherboard, almost bought it myself :-)

To be honest Im suprised there wernt a lot of black and gold builds out there after these were released. Its off how people still love the red and black typical build or blue and black.

I'm loving the gold and black combo its really different :)

very nice, looking forward to seeing this progress.

What is the estimated build cost of this project?

Thank you :) and ... don't ask haha I stopped keeping track before the video card purchases the two video cards were the most expensive with waterblocks and backplates, BUT It's for the love of the build that matters right :)

Thanks mate, I used a gold paint marker for the rads, the gpu pcb edging, Phanteks lettering on the drive cage and screws. Pretty much all the accent work tbh. I only sprayed the fan mounting screws and corsair fan rings, using Ford "Solar Gold" which had a nice darkish gold.

I never thought to remove Asus logo's tbh, I'd like some sponsorship one day so best to leave I guess, plus its black so it works.

I do really like the gold scheme, so long as it not totally pimped :D

Yeah it's easy to go overboard on the gold, this build I feel has a good balance. I was going to do gold fittings, but have changed my mind and am doing black fitting with black liquid there will be no more gold added to this build ;)

Yeah I sprayed all my paint, including the logos, created a stencil with tape and exacto knife and sprayed the logos on. I didn't like the finish with a brush it didn't give a clean feel, always blochy...

Is this build for yourself, or for a customer?

This kind of build quality I know people would pay a lot of cash for it :)

No this build is for me, it's my dream build so everything has to be perfect ;) after I get this complete and take professional pics and submit it to a few magazines I may try to sell it because to be honest I cannot afford to keep it it's very expensive as you know 2x's 780Ti,waterblocks, 4770k, asus deluxe, rads and everything... Can't really afford to keep it but I can build it which is all the fun for me :)

very nice mate gold is the new red seen a fair few people going gold and black, what coolant are you putting in it?

I have EK 12"/16" acrylic tubing, and Mayhems Pastel Pure black coolant :) It should be pretty cool seeing the black in the tubes and reservoir :)

I'm just working on the fittings I will need and then we can fill the loop.

Only things left are a few acrylic panels, and custom sleeving!

as said on another forum, I absolutely love it! about to order my 420 rad as well

Jimbaw :) Thank you yes I recognize you from another forum! Thank you, Im getting excited as the end is near!!

:)

Now have the black and gold song stuck in my head THANKS lol nice build

LOL I think the song your thinking of is black and yellow hahaha but we can modify it for this build LOL ;)

I just finished the painting of the res, and now I just need to order the fittings and start tubing up the parts :) I have someone doing the sleeving for me so thats going to look amazing!

thanks for following this build guys your support means everything to me, whenever Im feeling like I cant work on this anymore (money LOL :) you guys keep me motivated ;)
