OK I decided to build a computer to use while my main rig is going to be dismantled and rebuilt with new parts and a new case and so on.

That project is going to take some time and cost allot of money and a project log will be created for that.

However I bought some parts from a friend that consisted of an OCUK overclocked bundle

Argon Intel Core i3 2.93GHz @ 4.00GHz Overclocked Bundle

Which can be found here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=43&catid=339&subid=1803

I also bought an Asus ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024MB GDDR5 to go with it.

Missing a motherboard, case, harddrive & dvd drive I took a visit to ocuk & bought...

The build got under-way and around 30 mins later this was produced.

As you can see, the OCZ psu 12+ cable is short, I will need an exstention cable for that.

Cpu shot has been through 30 mins of prime so far, more testing is need but shows there is room left in the ocuk bundle.

Very nice and tidy - how come the core speed is showing 4.2GHz? I thought it was 4?

There is plenty of room left in the 4ghz ocuk bundle, I bumped it up to 4.2ghz,

Last night I had a play at 4.4ghz.

The system feels VERY snappy, but that's down to the C300 drive, SSD makes all the difference.

Noo it will scar your eyes if you see what he has created!

Well at least the "breadbin" gets some proper usage, unlike some of the monster builds on here. :P
