[Build Log] TJ07 with ColdZero Parts.... & First WC Rig

Ive never done a build log before but I thought itd be a good time to start since the rig Ill be building should "wow" some people.
Now listen carefully, this build wont be completed in a week, or a month. Itll be a slow progression spanning for months so stay tuned. I promise, the end result will be worth it...... hopefully.....

On to the specs, I have currently stripped out my PC and old parts are out, so I am without a proper PC so I'll just post up my specs thatll come:
CPU: Intel i7 3770K
[Buying in May]
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth Z77
[Bought]
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce X3 7950 3GB
Bought
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum's 16GB 4 X 4GB 1600Mhz OR Corsair Dominator GT's (Black) 16GB 4 X 4GB 1600MHz [To Buy]
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB

HDD: Currently just using random ones. 6TB worth...
Case: Currently using a XPS 630i but I will be purchasing a TJ07 powder coated! [To Buy]
ColdZero: Motherboard Tray, Inverted Backplate, Inverted Long Extension, Bay Drive Covers and Inverted LightPanel [To Buy]

Watercooling parts [TO BUY]:
Pump: Alphacool VP655 Laing D5 Pump Only
Pump Top: EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - Plexi
Radiator: Alphacool NexXxos UT60 480mm
Reservoir: Phobya Balancer 250 Black Nickel
Fittings: Bitspower Black Sparkles
Tubing: 3/8 ID 5/8 OD


That should sum most of the parts up, if anyone wants to make a recommendation or ask questions, feel free!

LAST WARNING: This will take VERY long due to me securing funds and also finding time out of exams (currently undergoing exams, GCSEs to be precise, yes, im a young lad) ETA to completion: End of 2013

Just got these through the post, I do plan to sleeve cables myself but not at the moment. When I can get more funds in and time. For now, Ill stick to some pre braided cables.

UPDATE: Got the 3770K in and started taking pictures and videos for the work log and time lapse and then turns out somethings dead. Going to have to test the CPU in a different mobo to see what it is.
Has made a huge dent in my plans and pocket so Im not sure if this will go on. Stay tuned.
 
i remember having one of them dell cases i still would have it if it wasn't BTX and weird internal design
 
Now Im not sure whether or not to ditch the TJ07 for the 900D.
Many pros for getting the 900D. Almost £200 cheaper and is large as hell so I can fit 2 quad rads and more. However, its so big, that it would make my whole room look obscure as it would have to be in the middle of my 3m table or at the opposite end of where my monitors would be. If only I could invert it, it would be the best option...
Thoughts?

Personally thinks the 900D looks better for me :D
 
Theyre matte 4mm plexi but at a damn good quality. The guys there make some quality stuff.
If youre worried about looks, dont worry. It looks like anodized aluminium from a distance

I've just chat with the owner through email about a custom backplate for my 7970 lightning :D

SMALL UPDATE:
Got rid of the front fans as I cant power the master I/O board with the new motherboard which will come in 2 weeks. Finishing off my GCSEs (yes, young lad) and I'm back home for 12 weeks! Ample time to progress through this build. Mind, ill be working to get some cash in! :thumb:

Yeah, Z77X-UD4H.
Had the Sabertooth lying around and bought the 3770K literally 2 weeks ago cause I thought haswell prices were going to be high. Turns out, they're the same price. At least I've been seeing some shocking temps to help lift my mood.
