Hiya guys newish member and thought i would put up a few pics of how my first rig started, where she is today and how it will be next week all comments appreciated guys. (pics were from my old LTT account)
specs at the time were
AMD fx8350
r9 290
1tb hdd
8gb fury x ram
and an asus m5a97 motherboard, i then upgraded slightly to this.
So i added a h100i, cable mod, corsair 750d, some fans and an msi 970 gaming board and an additional 8gb of avexir ram oh and a 240gb Samsung ssd.
well since then i upgraded to some nzxt hue (mk1 version) a second 290 a sapphire and put the corsair hg10 water cooler on the reference card. Well with boredom quickly setting in i quickly purchased an acer 1440p 144hz freesync monitor (the red one) which i love but this only kept me busy for a couple of months.
So with the recent offer on ebay tonight ive acquired a 6600k, 16gb 3200mhz g.skill tridentz and a rog ranger for the grand total of £333 (with the 20 cashback offer) and will update the build once all the parts get delivered monday. i must say ive only really been into the whole pc gaming/building thing for about a year and a half and dont have endless money to spend like some of you lot on here
but it truly is addictive more so than crack i reckon, cheers guys.
