Finally nearly ready to purchase final parts and ready to build.

Just need some final advice on if everything is ok and will work together.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 64-bit, English, 1 Pack, DSP OEI (PC) (This OEM software is intended for system builders only)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

I think that covers everything which I hope all works and will be any good.

Total price is £538.95 with the HIS 7850 or £576.94 with the gtx 660

Any advice / criticism welcome

Thanks in advance

No hard drives?

Unless you already have the vengaence memory, i wouldn't bother. Get low prfile (cheaper) stuff instead.. Will work exactly the same.

If the 7850 is a 2GB version and is still that much cheaper than the 660 its a much better option..

I don't have the memory or the gpu yet which is why I need a little bit of advice on which to go for. Looking to spend around £30-60 for memory and £120-150 for gpu

Sorry I forgot to add hard drive.

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATAIII 6Gb/s 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive OEM

I was originally thinking of purchasing a single 4gb stick for now and add another 4gb in future just for budget purposes but I couldn't really find anything

Memory, this is a great option, nice timings and pretty lights..

You won't find any decent memory (2x4GB) under £50 at the moment. This is all right:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Avexir Core Blue Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CW) - Blue Light £55.99
Total : £59.90 (includes shipping : £3.26).

The 7850 at £120 is unbeatable for that money:

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7850 IceQ X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H785QN2G2M) £119.99
Total : £129.89 (includes shipping : £8.25).

Or the 7870 for £145 if you can push the budget, would be my choice:

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7870 IceQ X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H787QN2G2M) £143.99
Total : £154.79 (includes shipping : £9.00).

Unfortunately already got the fx6300 but think I can squeeze the 7870 In and will purchase 8gb memory if theirs no decent 4gb sticks about for a good price.

Also thinking about getting a ssd drive for os boot only, spotted this but not sure if size big enough.

SanDisk SDSSDP-064G-G25 64GB SATA 6GB/s 2.5 Inch Internal SSD

If you've got the 6300 already then definitely push up to the 7870. Or if you really want something that'll last, the HIS IceQ 7950 at £185, it's brilliant - and it makes your whole order free delivery so takes off maybe £10-15.

The SSD's a great idea - but I'd get the 7950 graphics card in preference now while it's on such a great deal, SSDs will only fall in price and you can get one any time.

The 7950 could be just a bit too much for me but I may be able to push it possibly but I'll have to wait and see for at least a week.

Well, if you are looking to get an SSD, by delaying that you'd be within budget with the 7950 once you take off the delivery cost of the full order, and you get an extra free game :)

Finally finished purchasing parts

Only issue I'm having is what operating system to purchase and want to purchase a couple of fans but not sure what ones?

What do you guys reckon?

If i were you, i would try the windows 8 trial for a bit first to get a feel of things. Windows 8 is a bit hit or miss. I personally like it after i fiddled around with a few things. I added a start bar and disabled the log-in screan using a free app called Pokki. There are loads of similar things out there to bridge the gap between windows 7 user control and windows 8.

If you like the trial, all it takes is a code you purchase to fully activate it, pretty sure there is absolutely no need tor re-install or anything.
