Hello
Im looking at finally getting into PC gaming after being on console forever. Can anyone recommend me a system to run most things around 60fps 1080 to maybe even 1440? Been looking at prebuilt to avoid having to deal with scalpers but any help is appreciated

As a guide my rig in sig cost me £ 1071.50 ex VAT to assemble and the monitor was £ 666.48 ex VAT. Case was bought in 2013 and the rest 2018/2019 except the PSU which I bought this year.

The monitor was purchased in October 2020.

Indeed prebuilt is the easiest way to get graphics card in current situation.

Do you need monitor, etc included into that price?

Something like this would be good...

Costs more than what I paid because graphics cards are so expensive at the moment, I included a 6700XT which is better than my RX 580.

I just configured a system on ocUK website as follows...

Ryzen 7 3700x
Team Group Vulcan Z T-Force 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel
B450 Motherboard (doesn’t say which one)
MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming X 12GB OC Graphics Card
WD Black 1TB SN750 SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E Gen3 Solid State Drive
2TB Hard Drive (doesn’t say which one)
700W 80Plus Bronze Rated PSU (doesn’t say which one)
Kolink Stronghold Midi Tower Gaming Case

Comes to £1,601.16 inc VAT and delivery. So with my self build above which is £ 96.42 extra you get a 2TB NVMe drive and an 8TB hard drive, you get a 6700 XT equivalent to an RTX 3060, you know what motherboard you’re getting and you get a Corsair 750W bronze PSU and a nice Corsair case.

Only thing is the 3700x is 8 core rather then the 6 core Ryzen 5 3600 but you could go with the 3700x in the self build and perhaps lower the second HDD capacity or choose a cheaper case like the Kolink to make up the difference.

At the end of the day there’s not much between them and if you can’t be arsed to self build then a preconfigured system makes sense.
