Yesterday i upgraded my pc, new asrock mobo, amd athalon 64 processor and a sata2 hard drive. It booted up fine, and installed windows without any problems. I was then installing wow, went for a slash and came back to find i had BSOD. Switched the pc off and turned it back on. Nothing comes up on screen now and i can hear loads of short sharp beeps, I have heard them before when my hard drive blew :S

Can anyone offer any help? thanks :)

Specs:
9800pro
AMD athalon 64 3200
geil 512 mb and a stick of 512 no name ram
400w q-tec psu
Asrock mobo

I'll be the first one to point out the obvious "Q-Tec 400w", what is that doing there?

What are you upgrading from? It could be that you have overloaded the PSU, there are a lot of other potential things it could be but that would be my first thought. Have you tried stripping the PC down and running with a minimal load?

I upgraded from an amd athalon 2400 . Should i put my old psu back in and see how it goes???

What is your old PSU? The chances are it can't do any real harm but I'd try going back to the basics needed to boot e.g. motherboard, CPU, fan, hard drive, Ram and graphics card, then if that works build from there.
