odd one!
I have no clue what is causing this.

After XP is installed first thing I install are the Nforce4 chipset drivers. (ethernet, IDE etc)
I reboot the system. Boots up fine however now it detects a 1.44mb device and says something about FAT! Kernel...
Loads XP and now starts detecting new hardware such as Optical drives, a Floppy device even tho I dont have one installed! and finally it detects my WD caviar Sata2 Disk and sees it as removable device!?

At this point the USB devices I have connected (mouse and KB) freeze and are unusable. The clock down the right corner is active. USB devices seem to die.

SPEC:
Opty 165 0550WPMW, ASUS A8N-E, 2x512mb BH-5 2-2-2-5@3V.
All stock so far. I will overclock once its all running and installed properly.

Has anyone got a clue what is causing this brand new build to act like this?

I tried a total reinstall of XP with a proper Formatt, same thing happens.

 :( :o

So I disabled floppy legacy support in the bios and I got it to work.
I now installed the OMEGA drivers for the gfx and reboot all USB devices are dead again.

Whats up?!

edit: Well it works and the next time I boot it doesnt :) Strange!
