Hello there, Im looking for some advice on a build with a maximum budget of £1000.

Im going to use the PC for Gaming, Movies, Browsing & Overclocking to 4ghz :D. I'm hoping it will last for 2-3 years before a Full Build Upgrade is needed again, though i will probably Upgrade GPU every year or so. Maximum cooling is also essential as i want as lower temperatures as possible

I've been looking at and comparing the i5 750, i7 860 & i7 920 and the 3 of them seem on par in gaming with each other, Only differences of course is the Hyperthreading & Tri Channel Memory on 1366 socket. The 1156 Sockets seems to appeal more to me as its less power hungry and chips appear to run cooler aswell.

Here's the i5 Build i've come up with so far.

Any Suggestions/Improvements? I was thinking of putting the i7 860 in but im not sure i need the hyperthreading really. Also i dont want to put a H50 corsair in because i dont like the idea of having to have it blowing air into the case :/, though maybe with a different case it may not be so bad?

If you can squeeze one in the budget I'd go for a better PSU so you're a little bit futureproofed in that respect :)

seriously? what are you smoking?

Your original spec looks bang on, for your res a 5850 will destroy all current games and any that get released in next couple years too prob
