Hey guys,

So I obviously have my rig, I have a rig I built for my son who is 10 with a 1080ti and all the works. Now my daughter who is 9 wants to get into PC gaming, now I am looking for a build for her and she is really adament that she wants the case to be teale!, she plays games such as Sims 4 and a few others. Now usually this would mean I don't have to spend too much, however I am planning on giving her my older monitor Rog 165hertz 1440p monitor and getting a new super wide screen for myself. (Decided today on that). I can build computers and have been doing so for over 20 years, that isn't my problem. I am just a little stuck with how I go about picking parts for a girl and getting them right haha. So forgetting budget limits, really price is not a problem what would you guys choose. This has to include everything except the monitor. She tells me she hates pink! so I am a little unsure what to choose here.

I know you say Budget is no issue but how about going for a B450 Board as you are spec'ing a gen 2 CPU, The stock cooler will do a decent job so no need for an extra cooler if the PC will not be overclocked etc The PSU is a decent unit but for around the same price you could get a Corsair PSU with longer warranty....

Tbh I am not a fan of Corsair PSU's apart from the AX series, from my experience I have had nothing but issues with the cheaper ones. I was going to go for Evga like I have but I am not 100% on any of these parts yet mate. I use a 1300w Titanium and it's great but clearly she doesn't need anything silly like that. Lets say £1200 - £1500 to put a budget if that helps, would you change much? Could I get much more out of the rig for that price do you reckon.

It seems a bit OTT to spend this much for a 9 yr old. I know it is your cash to do with as you please, but £1200 - £1500 is an awful lot for a 1st pc at that young age.

A spec like this is easily going to handle games like the Sims. The pc can always be upgraded over time as AM4 is supported until 2020 so you could stick an 8 core in to replace the 2600 and a better gpu etc when needed.

Added a couple of fans as the case only comes with one installed. I would move it to the rear as exhaust and then stick the two Arctic ones at the front.

The cpu cooler is optional, but it adds a bit to the aesthetics. The RGB Ram will be on view as that cooler doesn't block the Ram slots.
