I need to choose a power supply. I intend to fit 2 maybe 3 HDD's, a SSD drive, I might even go for more than one graphics card. Is the following power supply suggested earlier in the thread enough to "future proof" me for adding components as I go along?

Ignore last question, I was told earlier in the thread I need 850W PSU for dual graphics cards.

Modular is better for a tidy case, right? I was thinking with the mesh case I ave this would be better. Also it is bronze where the other is gold.

What am I comprising on with the cheaper option, if anything at all?

It is a bit better, but is it worth £55 extra from your budget, not in my opinion anyway.

I'm looking at motherboard and processor now. Having reviewed this thread (started in January) everyone has suggested Intel. Why not AMD? Is Intel streets ahead, or should I be considering an AMD setup?

Oh, and I've upped my budget to £1500.
