build suggestion please

Can someone please suggest to me a build please. I am looking to build a machine that will only generally be used for browsing the internet, playing music etc and playing low level games like AOE and Football Manager etc. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg i just want a good performance machine for good value. I will need the case and everything. ive got monitor, mouse etc

is the "bay" the best place to get something like that or do OCuk have a section

Can anyone suggest me one for £300 or is that just not a realistic amount
