Build Time for New System

Evening everyone. Last night I ordered one of the 'Built to Order' gaming PC's. Needless to say I'm hugely excited as it's my first new PC since 2013

I feel like I may be asking something asked hundreds of time, and a question which I know is said to be "7 working days" on the FAQ... But my excitement can't hold me back from asking the question anyway!!

How long on average is the build time? All parts were in stock when I ordered and it's not a hugely complex machine I've gone for. I've opted for Saturday delivery and I'm crossing my fingers for this Saturday although I know I'm being optimistic

Any thoughts? :D:D
 
I'm pretty sure you'll have it before Saturday, All parts in stock and great customer service from OCUK that will be built in no time :D
 
Not sure how long its supposed to take but I ordered my system on the 15th Nov and haven't heard anything yet just trying to be patient :)
 
I ordered on the 13th and it hasn't shipped yet. I'm assuming because of the busy period on the lead up to Black Friday/Christmas. They do warn it can take more than 7 days during the busier periods and it looks like this is one.
 
Sods law isn't it a few minutes after I posted above I got an email telling me my system had been dispatched so I expect it here to be here Monday as I didn't pay for Sat delivery :) :) :) :)

would be nice if it did, dont trust systems standing over 2 nights in a warehouse :(
least ocuk insure it :D

check box fully over and take pictures before signing :)

Nice! I've been checking my e-mails all day on the off chance it would get dispatched today. I paid for Saturday delivery and it would've been amazing to have gotten it tomorrow. Unfortunately that means even if it does get dispatched on Monday I have to wait all the way until next Saturday!!

I'm tempted to call up and ask to get it changed to next day and get it delivered to my workplace... Reckon they'd do that or once you've chosen your delivery method can it not be changed?

God I'm impatient :D

I would call and ask. Or use the customer services forum. They are really busy at the mo but I've found the response times good and they changed a delivery from next day to sat for me.

I am so looking forward to it as its my first new system in a long time and my current one is really struggling even after spending hours on it trying to sort it out.

Not looking forward to installing all my games though especially after looking at my Origin and Steam lists I had forgotten how many games I had :)

My just set them all in a queue then go down the pub for a beer :cool:

Oh yeah it was delivered @ 2:30 yesterday and its been a struggle to stay away from it :)

The way it was packaged was amazing like getting a cardboard pallet and boxes within boxes no damage to anything or any of the outer packing DPD handled it very well as far as I am concerned.

No Haribo though :(

Yeah i used to work for DPD and see the PC's come through the depot.. some of the boxes are huge :p but always get handled well... glad your happy with it, we look forward to the pics!

Your like me, I always rummage through for haribo :p
