Interesting but I would take me forever to build and id probaly mess it up. Much rather work an extra weekend day or do some more on call and buy the $500 mic. It would save me time and money in the long run (and I wouldnt solder my fingers)

Just listened to the DIY microphone, to my ears it's better then the $3000 Neumann.
