Hi - what do you think of this spec - i was going to go for the ds4 instead of the p5b-deluxe but i read some good reviews about this, like some sayings its better for overlclocking

Asus P5B Deluxe WIFI Socket 775 Core 2 Duo P965 FSB1066 DDR2 SATA Audio ATX

512MB Sapphire Radeon X1550 PCI-E (x16) 800MHz GDDR2 GPU 550MHz D-Sub/DVI/S-Video Retail

I-Cute ATX Gaming Case

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (2.13ghz) Socket 775 FSB1066 2MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Seasonic S12 Series 430W ATX2.0 PSU With PCI-E Power Connector

Microsoft Business Hardware Pack

im kinda on tight budget too - less than £600 with everything needed- ie keyboard etc (but not monitor)

+ keyboard & mouse.

Any reason you want to stick with the E6400? You can quite easily clock the E6300 to E6600 speeds and above, its not difficult, and it's free performance, if you get stuck just ask at these forums? The chosen spec will allow for brilliant overclocks, the 7600GT is a good card for gaming (i've got one :D) and its cheap...much better than that x1550

thanks for that spec but id rather stick with e6400

that gpu looks good

general work stuff and photoshop - not much gaming

Seriously, go with mine. You'll get 2.8 out of that 6300 on stock cooling.

does that 7600gt come with a converter for the screen port becuase my screen has 15pin
It's not something you won't be able to pick up via an auction site for a couple of pounds anyway.

What do you meana converter? I take it you mean you have a VGA port? If so then GFX cards usually come with a DVI-VGA converter :)
