Hi

Ok need a new computer for gaming around £500 is what i want to spend not including a monitor or operating system,

i basiclly want to run empire total war on full spec and other games, i was thinkin of getting a i7 core but i think u have to get a really good mother board and ram to make them worth while.

The above seems pretty good, and I dont think for £500 u will be able to go for i7, unless u really skimp out on the other components.

looks nice just a few question
1) is there any difference between AMD and intel?
2) what made u choose that mother board ?
3) How do u work out what size(W) powerpack u need?

1 - The price and performance. The 720BE is one of the best cpu's out just now for that price.

2 - Fairly cheap, solid board that will do the job.

3 - You judge that by the components in the system and add some head room for expansion. 600w Is more than enough ( and they run more efficient when not pushed to there limits)
