Ok guys, this is only me second post on the board since i got access, but lets make it an interesting one at least.
Im looking to build 2 new systems, identical in everyway and i know basically what im going to be getting, i might add that everything will be from OCUK
I hate buying parts from all over the place and from the service i got when i bought my Hanns-G 19" WS monitor and G7 mouse from here im very happy to sticking to OCUK.
Anyway onto the question at hand.
The Cpu's ofc will be E6300 allendale's, now the hard part, Ive read a lot of stuff about boards that support this cpu, but 2 ive fixed my eyes on.
Gigabyte DS3 and the Asrock Conroei945 DVi
Ive really kept my eye on the DS3 and i know its had problems regarding the ver 1.0 bios, but the bios out now has seemed to cure that problem from some reports?
the Asrock board ive been recommended by a friend, but he runs a 939 x2 AMD in his make of board.
I know the Asrock is a cheaper version than the DS3, but it has from what ive read a lot of limitations regarding overclocking.?
Im going slightly for the DS3, its got problems, but i think that in the long run it will serve me better.
I will post the complete system i will be ordering give or take a few changes when im more awake, but for now thats all.
Cheers.
Steve
