I've had a laptop for the past year, which has served as my main pc, well only pc really.
I'd like to now use this laptop as my secondary machine and build a cheap and if possible silent replacment.
Requirments for the system are:
Use as media pc, hdmi out, connected to projector and lcd monitor at the same time.
Large harddrive space, mirroring of two drives for backup.
Enough eumph to cope with HD material and general Vista tasks.
Thats about it really, quite flexable I guess. Main point is to be a quiet as possible, silent would be amazing.
Would it be ok to leave such a system on 247? As a server/media box?
