Hello there. This is actually my first time posting but not browsing these forums (have browsed for a number of days).
I would appreciate it if someone could help me out here.
Like the title suggests, i've decided to dive into the idea of building a computer this time around and I would appreciate it if you could lend me a hand with what i've got so far.
For my birthday, my sister has bought me some of these components and i've bought some of them myself.
Firstly what i've got so far before building this are 2 monitors (one being a 23inch and another being a 21 unfortunately). I guess already the alarm bells are ringing in some of your heads as going with 2 GTX580's is a waste on such low resolution monitors.
Basically I want to be playing all games on max and already with a 3 year coming old computer (which has had some updates itself with a 6950 ATI currently in it) i've been able to have all games on max but the FPS isn't quite what i'm after. Rift for example has been giving me around 30 to 40 fps and sometimes as low as 12-15.
So basically in short, could you advise me on whether this rig is sufficient or should I change some things around a bit.
Also on the front as its mainly a gift from my sister, is it possible to give the items back and trade them in? What kind of condition do they have to be in? Meaning I've looked around at some wires and taken things out of their packages.
