Hello, I hope this is the right place to be posting about my build? I have been looking and doing my research on gaming computers and hardware over the last 4-5weeks. I have finally come up with the specs which I feel to be the best value for money. I am looking to build a gaming and video editing computer and don’t really want to spend over £1000 including the monitor. If you have any other suggestions of parts or changes you would make it would be greatly appreciated.
Processor-i7 3770k 3.5GHz- £242.39
CPU cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO- £25.43
Motherboard- MSI Z77A-G54- £83.48
Memory- Corsair Vengence 8GB (2x4) DDR3 1600- £39.33
SSD- Sandisk Ultra 120GB 2.5 - £59.99
Hard drive- Western Digital WD Green 2TB 3.5 5400RPM- £70
GPU-Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB- £229
Case- Zalaman Z11 Plus Mid Tower- £51.54
PSU- Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze - £67.81
Monitor- Acer S240HLbid 24" Full HD- £128
Total £994
However I have already heard suggestions that my SSD isn’t really good enough and eithers my Hard drive?
If anyone could please help me out to build the best gaming computer for the money it would be greatly appreciated! P.S I would go a little over £1000
Thank you.
