hi there.

i think its about time to upgrade my old rig my budget it £600 and what ever ill get for selling my old bits.

I want it to be future proof and its gong to be purely for gaming i only game at 1680x1050 but im hoping to get a 1080p monitor maybe in this budget if i can.

spec:
asus p5q deluxe
ati 5850 powercolor
intel q6600 @3.3ghz on air cooling
4gb of 800hmz ddr2 ram
soundblaster x-fi
2x 500gb hard drives not raided
antec p190 with 1200watt powersupply
dvd-rom drive.

i mainly play BF3 and skyrim atm but i do love getting games just for th graphics :D i know £600 isnt that much but i think i could maybe go to £800 with the bits sold.

Thanks in advance Matt.

yeah they are all sata and its 2PSU's ones 800watt and ones 400watt antec they came with the case, i know its overkill and i wouldnt mind getting a smaller case really but i dont need a smaller case and PSU so thatll wait.

Im thinking of getting a 120gbSDD drive for core games and programs and raiding the two 500HDD's.

Well I've looked on eBay and I will be able to get around 80 for the graphics card and maybe the same for mobo CPU ram combo so I'll stick another £150 on the budget to make it £750 as the base budget. Maybe get a better monitor as mine is a hp w2207h.
