Do you have any used parts from any previous computers you can salvage from? Do you need Windows? do you need peripherals aswell?
What sort of games you looking at playing?

I'm starting from scratch but I have a monitor and Windows. I'm wanting to play games like ark survival and high graphic games on steam

Thanks for your input starshock I will look into what you have listed. does that and setup have any room for overclocking or would an Intel setup be better suited?

unfortunately no overclocking with that motherboard would need to move up to a B350 or B450 motherboard for that. something like this >

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £79.85 (includes shipping: £9.90)

In this price range there's definitely no Intel overclocking as their cheapest unlocked processor is the 8350K at £155 and ~£100 for the motherboard
