Hi,
I'm looking to build a new PC this week, and was wanting to use my current retail Windows 7 on the new machine..

Am I right in thinking I'll have thirty days of grace before I'll need to activate my new machine so I'll be able to use both (not simultaneously) in that time, so I'll have a month to move all my data across etc.?

Is there anything I've got to worry about...i.e. using my copy of Windows 7 on a totally new machine and discarding the old is perfectly feasible, right?

Thanks for any advice!

Thanks. I did read about a requirement for a new copy of Windows 7 if you replaced the motherboard, which sounded well over the top to me and quite immoral. We'll see what happens when I phone them to activate my new machine!
