Building a new rig £450

Hi, I'm trying to build a new gaming pc for my friend but his budget is quite low and he planned to buy a system off ebay but I suggested to build one instead, but not sure good components are there within his budget range.

Was thinking of AMD as its cheaper compare to intel, but if someone could suggest a system within his budget that'd be great. Thanks.

GPU is somewhat optional at the moment due to low budget, but if you can squeeze in a good GPU that'd be a plus.

That is a good price for the VP450P especially considering that is a Delta made PSU.

Looks like a good build thanks. Is the stock cooler not that good? I know the Akasa is cheap. Will show him this tomorrow and see what he says.

The stock cooler just does a job, I found them noisy as they spin up faster.

With that Akasa you can overclock the CPU some. I mainly picked it due to its black fan matching the other bits n bobs.

How ok is the integrated graphic of AMD? I know having a dedicated is better but just curios.

There is no integrated gfx.

Ah, well APU's can play games and a Kaveri 7850K is equivalent to a £70 R7 250 etc.

But the FX6300 and R9 270 card will proper muller it in all situations.

anything less than a r9 270 will be running flat out in most modernish games ie skyrim, dayzsa

Oh okay cool, he seems to like the parts but yet to order them. Btw I know that there is new AMD cpus now, how are they compare to Pildriver?

Piledriver is still their best.
