i am wanting to overclock the conroe, i am looking at getting this board

it says the max ddr2 ram it can cope with is 667, however would it be possible when overclocking to increase this in the bios or would it be stuck at that it i was getting 667 ddr2 ram?

anyone reccomend another board in the similar price bracket?

From what I've read, that Asrock board is a bit crap for overclocking. It doesn't give control over vCore in the BIOS. Consider the Gigabyte DS3 instead. it costs a bit more but is a lot better board (say others).

yeah there's been some people managing to get 500FSB on the DS3, which is a good bit more than any of the Asus/DFI/Bad Axe boards have been getting... so it you were running the low end conroes with the low multi's, a high FSB capablility would be even more important.
