Decided to build a TV cabinet which will be about 2m in width and 2.4m in height from moisture resistant mdf which will be sprayed.
The only issue I have is I didn't want to go around 600mm deep because of the amp. What are my options for having the amp somewhere else.

Equipment is
Yamaha 3070 set up in 9.1
Firestick
Nvidia shield
1080p projector

Do I need to spend a bit on a hdmi cable to carry 4k signal to TV. It will be around 3m
Not mad money.

Your signals won't be travelling far enough to warrant some kind of fibre-optic or active repeater cable, so you're looking for straightforward passive HDMI cables.

Your cable choice will revolve around what you're planning to watch. If it's films/video with HDR and wide colour gamut (Dolby Vision) then an 18Gbit cable is as far as you need to go. These are the Premium Certified cables.

Where you plan to do gaming on the telly at 120Hz with a high-end console or some mad nutter graphics card then you'll be better off looking at a 48Gbit cable. These are the Ultra High Speed cables.

Rough ballpark figures are £30 and £40 respectfully, but you'll fund something cheaper, I'm sure.
