Hi,
I'm hoping to build my own PC in the next few months and I'm looking for advice. The old Dell I have at the moment is 6 years old and dying of the dreaded WinRot. My uses will be for video-editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), photo-editing, web-design and general surfing and browsing. I won't be using it for gaming.
I've been looking at different options for components. What would you recommend? I was thinking SSD for running programs and SATA for storage. Is there a big advantage to this? Also, is Sandybridge worth it?
Don't know much about graphics. Like I say, I won't be using it for gaming, but I will be doing a lot of video-editing.
I'm hoping for 8gb RAM and an Intel i5, but my budget is around the €1000 mark. Already have a monitor and speakers.
Also, about the actual construction of the build. Is it complicated or easy? I.e. can I mess everything up????
I'd appreciate any help you can give me!
