Right well, I was sat at my computer this morning and just thought "what can i do to my computer that is totally 'ghetto' that I havn't seen before" now i know this is a stupid thought, but are there any glaring reasons why I shouldn't do this, I mean its not going to stay in there indeffinately.

Thoughts and opinions please.

(btw this is a pointless project I know, but its something to take up a day)

Nope, to be specific it will be two shoe boxes, 1 to house the motherboard and one to house the psu, hardrive and dvd drive. The box holding the motherboard will stand on its side, open like a book, whilst the other box will be in the correct position and closed with the mobo box sat on top of it.

The motherboard area will be open to the air, never the less i intend to put 3 80mm fans on the front and 1 120mm on the back, that should get some air moving :D .

Well the shoe box in its closed state is to small so, I have to open it out and have it in the form of a right angle (it has a middles section as a hinge) so that it is long enough. I think the boxes are from, Osiris and I can't remember the name of the other make.

why don't you just build a case made out of all the boxes the parts came in then lol!

I don't have them anymore, my pc is about 3 years old :( and i just thought this would be a fun thing to keep me busy tommorow.

And thanks for the link michael baxter :) .

Sounds to me like a fire hazard in the making! ;)

Best let the local fire department know what you're up to, just in case!!

Seriously though, if you're going to only have it switched on when you're there, then why not!

Just don't leave it folding or anything whilst you're out doing the shopping! ;)

Lol yer :D , i tend to leave my computer on while im not in the room, but i should smell the smoke, buy which time, my computer will have died :(. But never mind :p . Just thought it would be fun, might leave it in there for a while if cooling is any good.
