Building a pc for specifically diablo 3 just wondered what components I will need to max the game out udon 1600x1200 resolution
Any help given will really be appreciated

what sort of budget have you got ?

do you require monitor, keyboard, mouse, operating system or just the tower unit itself ?

Just bought a g12 keyboard and a Samsung 22" peble monitor so just looking to spend around £400 on a rig if possibe would be able to go higher if really need to I already have a 1tb hard drive and 2x1gb ddr3

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONs

PC

OS: Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 (Latest Service Packs) | Processor: Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
or AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 5600+ 2.8 GHz | Memory: 2 GB RAM | Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 260 or
ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 or better

Mac

OS: Mac® OS X 10.7 or newer | Processor: Intel® Core 2 Duo | Memory: 2 GB RAM
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M or ATI Radeon™ HD 4670 or better

i found these on the net but would be running the game on 1600x1200 res and am leaning towards a quad core / ddr3 combo
but for £400 would would be my best bang for buck in a build

well looking at the spec you could go with an i3 2100 dual core processor, h67/p67 mobo, 6850 graphics card, bequiet 530w psu and BitFenix Shinobi Gaming Case, and that would be within budget.

just over your budget (around £440-450) would be a quad core i5 2300, mobo etc as above, then for £470 ish you could go i5 2500K and z68 gigabyte ud3 mobo.

the i3 should be more than enough for diablo 3.

You have HD. saves £45.
You have SATA DVD-RW? would save £17.

that should do the trick.

HIS ATI Radeon HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with DIRT3 & Deus Ex PC Games £111.95
Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £89.99
Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case with Fan Controller - Black £49.99
Gigabyte H61M-S2V Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £49.99
Lepa W-Series 500W '80 Plus' Power Supply £46.99
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9AD3B1K2/4G) £23.99
LG GH24NS70 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.99
(This can be changed during checkout) Shipping : £12.50
VAT is being charged at 20.00% VAT : £67.65

Just keep in mind it's all speculative, and as always, you're best waiting for the game release, and save your money in the meanwhile.

Ah thanks for all the help
But the beta has been released can the requirements of the game change with the final release?
Also I do currently have a hard drive and dvdrw
I wondered if I would be better off running 2gtx280 in sli as you can pick these up for £50 each but havin recently getting back into pc gaming not sure the difference would be
That different as I would have to pay more for an 775 sli mboard?

hi i sold my gaming setup last year did have an old x19500x2 with e6600 and 4gb ddr2 but pro wasnt the best setup

currently on ps3 and have my laptop for light gaming

love diablo 1 n 2 and the new release pushed me into gaming again also battlefront 3 looks top notch

and rig that could run these games at max on 1600x1200
