Hi am building a new pc (this all new to me), after much research i have chosen to go for Intel i5 2500k as my cpu and now i need a motherboard and graphic card.

I mainly wanna run Photoshop CS5, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Illustrator and play games like Command and Conquer, Starcraft 2.

What motherboard, graphic card would you recommend?

Thanks in advance...

P.S I have bought CM Storm Enforcer case to fit all the components!

My total budget is for the whole system is around £600! minus the £165 for cpu and £65 for case! And to be honest I just need something thatll be good enough for what I do! So i dont really know my budget for them two?

I like the MSI's. GD53, GD65, GD45. I'd go with the GD53, or the gigabyte equivalent, or if you have overclocking in mind, the GD65, or again, the gugabyte.

for the graphics card, sub £120, the HD 5850. Sub £160, the HD 5870. Sub £230, the 480 GTX, sub £260 the GTX 570.

Brilliant! Thanks for the help dude! One more thing can you help me out with please! I always wanted water cooling (even though i might not need it)! especially the ones have tubes lit up, if you know what i mean?

could you help me with all the components i need?

Thanks once again.

water cooling is going to be very expensive. i dont know a huge amount about watercooling, but even for your basic kit your looking at £100-£150 if you want to watercool the graphics card and processor

There are quite a few good water cooling kits like the EK H30 or the XSPC range..from £115 upwards to get started.
