Ok guys here goes. I'm building a PC specifically to play a new flight sim that’s away to be released DCS:Black Shark.
The developers have stated that I currently doesn’t make use of Multi-Core processors or DX10 but will do in future modular upgrades.
I prob will use the system for others games too and would like it to be upgradeable in the future.
The recommended specs for the game are:
Windows XP, Vista; CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz or AMD equivalent, RAM 2 GB; Video Card with 512 MB RAM (ATI Radeon HD4850+ or nVidia GF8800+), compatible with DirectX9; 5GB of HDD space; sound card; DVD ROM; TrackIR®; keyboard, mouse, joystick.
I could prob stretch to about £800-£1000 budget but the lower the better.
Processor: Yes
Motherboard: Yes
Memory: Yes (4GB preferably)
Graphics Card(s): Yes, my SM226BW can only go as high as 1680x1050.
TV Card: No
Hard Drive(s): Yes
Optical Drive(s): Yes (Normal Cd/DvD writer)
Cooling: Yes ( Air)
Water Cooling: No
Cable(s):
Sound Card: Maybe, Ive got an old soundblaster pro
Controller Card(s): No
Case: Yes
Power Supply:Not sure, i've got a Seasonic SS-600HT
Operating System: Yes
Cheers folks.
