Looking to set up a small office network and will be building the PCs myself. Have an idea how I want to set up the actual network but need some help speccing the PCs.

Basically will want three PCs that are fairly cheap (£400-500 each if poss) that will be able to run office and any programs required. Could anyone suggest a spec for me (incl monitor)?

Thanks

Sorry forgot to say that!

They'll prob just be running basic programs like windows office, payroll programs and antivirus/security software. They won't need to run graphics programs nor will they be used for games

okay that will help i am sure some MB have built in graphics so they should be enough for your uses which will save a bit of money, will these need Keyboard, mouse, OS?

Just get a branded business PC (i.e. Dell, Fujitsu, HP, etc). Far less hassle and probably cheaper than building them yourself. Also better for warranty and keeping track of the hardware you have on their websites.
