Hey...

Could someone design me a system for me dad please... couple of years ago he bought a computer from some dodgy **** for £600 that looks a bit like this:

No hotlinked images. Thank you.

Don't want him to get ripped off again! He only needs to surf the web, watch videos, word processing, e-mails etc...would be good to sort him out with a system that will last him the next few years and would cost £500ish (or less really) - no point paying over the odds for what he needs it for??? I don't think he needs a new mouse / keyboard / monitor...

:D

Yep he would need an OS but no not a wireless adapter...

Just been browsing the pre built systems on OcUK...maybe worth a shout?

Thanks for the responses people couple of good looking builds suggested... I'll have a think about whether to build it for him or not and see if he wants to spend money on a computer that is overkill for his purposes...

I'll prob build it for him but that's for my personal pleasure! ;)

Yes mate. Although you could just have a crack at doing a spec yourself on this thread. We can point out any pitfalls, just keep doing what you're doing asking the right questions. The offers change on wednesday, you should be able to get free P&P by then and we can rebalance the spec to take advantage of the offers

You guys are awesome lol...

The old fella actually gave me a budget of £600 but I think that really would be overkill for checking his e-mail :D
