I have absolutely no experience in anything to do with building a website.

I currently have a Flickr Pro but would like my own site with associated web address and email options.

Whats the best way of achieving this?

Cheers, I have been contemplating using Zenfolio unlimited UK at £50 a year + a Domain name + email?? But I've also heard Wordpress being thrown around to?

I'll have a look at the Web Development forum also

Thanks guys just looking a bit deeper into Wordpress as an option, best places for hosting and domain names?

Ok so I've just registered a domain name on its own until I work out what to do with the site! Got some wordpress ebooks for holiday reading next week, so until then I just want to put a holding page with some contact details on, now as I said in the OP I have no experience so dummy guides would be useful.

I have some webspace with my Talktalk account I can use to host the page but how do I go about getting it online and having my domain direct people to it??

Thanks in advance

I went with Vidahost in the end seemed to be the most popular on the forum, should I just grab one of their hosting packages and go from there? instead of bothering with a holding page a re-directing.

EDIT- done just took out their starter package, now to work out this wordpress malarky
