Youv been Hono'd! lol

LOL

"You know when you've been Hono'd" is the correct quote from my gaming buddies ;)

Have a crack at spec'ing it fella :) I'd rather have the Corsair 540 case myself but each to their own. The cooler is a BEAST, so that could be toned down to a £30ish one I suppose. That spec is dual GPU capable which is better than he was shooting for. Plenty of ways to re-balance it, just thought I'd get the ball rolling :D

Thx hono

Is the graphics card ok? I'm willing to spend about £250 ish on one, can I get more bang for my buck?

Also forgot to mention, with the spec above is the CPU easily overclockable along with graphics card?

The GPU is excellent, I used the Gigabyte WF force version and it run anything thrown at it! :D

Be quick though the pre-orders are selling quick.

The CPU will be easily overclockable and the GPU should have a little left in it.

one last question, Im after a modular power supply, do i need 850W?

looking at this:
Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020061-UK) (£78.98)

750W will do you bud just fine. The XFX 850W is a bargain for the price.

Like I said I'd go for the Corsair Carbide 540 case. Three 140mm fans, loads of space and good watercooling support and due to the design it wouldn't punish you for using a non-modular PSU. However it's your build and you have to look at the thing so you pick what you want :)

I placed order, cant wait!

on the order screen it said the graphics card was out of stock, does that part of the order just get cancelled or will they ship it to me when they have it in stock?

Happy to help fella. Did you just order my spec with the semi-modular 750W PSU then?

As RJC said you will have to wait on the GPU to come into stock before they will dispatch the whole order. The SSD is also preorder but it's really getting you the best parts for the best possible price so worth a slight wait :)

Update: Components arrived today in the post!! doing all building research now, and prob start on friday, when it comes to overclocking...
I've read the OC guide on this forum and others, I follow most of it but really, Im still feeling a bit intimidated by the whole thing.

I found this video on youtube, Is it okay if I just copy straight from it? (they use a UD3H board-any difference?) the relevant bit starts at 4:42

Im looking for atleast 4.40GHz, do I just change the multiplier to 44x
