Building help...

Hi all.

My parts arrived this morning. Very pleased and whatnot.

However, i got started on building and realised I never checked if the Corsair 520W PSU is compatable with the Antec 900 Case.

As of now, im having trouble gettin the psu to reach the chassi...

Am i screwed? Or am i missing something?

Advice?

are you sure you're putting it in the right place? and right way round?

says on specs:

Power supply mounts at the bottom of the case

im assuming that means the PSU goes at the bottom, incase you're trying to put the PSu at the top

Can you describe the problem a little better. Is the PSU not fitting in the case or are the cables (from the PSU) too short or...

why cant all cases be compatible..... i really want to get the antec 900. isn't it meant to fix all atx psu's? exceptions would be the long enermax ones i guess but.

EDIT: Thank god it fits

. Is it really 14kg out of the box?

I heard there are problems with HX520 mounted at the bottom where the 24 pins ATX cable can't reach the connector on the mobo. Although an extension cable will fix this easily.

Well im not sure about the weight...I err, forgot to put it on the scale before screwing it in?

But the 24 pin cable reaches fine

but i got another question for you guys...

do i want my Freezer 7 Pro heatsink to be FACING the exhuast fan on the top, and the fan facing the gaphics card? :confused:

Ah ic must be another case then.

I'd face the heatsink towards the rear exhaust fan.
