hi all, i'm looking into building my first computer, i have small knowledge when it comes to building but i do know my way around computers. I've done some research and have compiled a list of parts i think would go together and would be a good benchmark for around the £1400 price bracket, i want to play at 1440p res, ultra graphics with buttery smooth fps with a monitor to suit for games like BF1, farcry 5, the witcher 3, cod. the £1400 budget is for the PC alone, i originally wanted a 1080ti GPU but cant seem get hold of them plus the g-sync monitor would be a fortune. so I've opted to go down the Intel CPU but AMD GPU route for freesync . i am here for advice from anyone to give me guidance if what i have part wise is ok or a better alternative and why so i can understand the reasoning behind your choice. i still haven't found additional fans or a CPU cooler and links would be appreciated.

You can't close your own threads. There should be an edit button that'll allow you to change your existing posts.

Rather than including links and expecting people to follow them all to work out what you're intending on buying use the item descriptions instead.

If you can find the parts you want to buy on OcUK's store you can include a link to your basket using the BBCODE option that's in there.
