Hi, i need help with the power sockets and understanding them and what they are doing. I'm also worried i will put the wrong power cable in the wrong hole. See imagine to help with understanding what i'm talking about.

At the top (1,2) is 2 CPU power sockets do i need to use both for the 7950X3D?
At the bottom is another (3) i think this is for PCIE do i need this for 4080S?
At the side is a connection to case IO USB (4) that supplies 27Watts of power do i need bottom socket (3) to get 27 watts?

Thanks for any help.

The manual doesn't specify if this is optional, but I would guess you do not.

There's an article which talks about it here and from what I can gather, this is for upcoming cards rather than existing cards, since they shouldn't draw so much power from the PCIE slot:

In theory: no, but I can't find any instructions in the manual, so if you have a second one I'd just plug it in.

Yeah, I believe this is the only connector on your motherboard that supports 27 watts power delivery. I'm not sure how much power USB4 ports can provide.
Thanks for the help.
