Building my first (quiet) PC

change the heatsink to an Ultra-120 and you can stick a nice quiet fan on it.. if you want real silence might consider an aftermarker cooler for the graphics card they tend to be loud
 
as per Pneumonic go with the ultra 120.

have you had a look at the Asus ATI Radeon EAH3650 SILENT/HTDI/512M HD 3650 Vcool Silent 512MB ?

not sure what the single yate loon is for, but worth getting 2 to replace the case fans.

maybe worth a look at the Zalman ZM500-HP Heatpipe Cooled 500W Modular PSU.

i wouldnt bother with the cable tidy kits just go with zip ties.
 
theres a general badmouthing of creative sound cards so it might be wise to get an asus xonar for a similar price...

Also £20 more could get you the cheapest (though loudest) 8800gt... which would be very good for gaming :)
