Building my first SFF, What PSU?

Hi guys, altho this is a retarded question for a supposed IT proffessional. Ive never built a small form factor PC before and i have a problem. I want to buy an Aspire X-QPACK case, comes with a 420w juicebox however only has a 20pin plug, therefore i want to put another PSU in, however i have no idea if you can put ordinary ATX PSU's in SFF cases like this? Just never come across the issue before lol.

PS spec is gonna be X2 4400, 2gig kingston, 500Gb RAID 0. 7800GTX dual DVD-RW

hey,

sounds like a really nice setup i am a proud owner of the xq-pack to. PSU wise your pretty much going to have to go for a seasonic,

not sure 380W would do your rig though, maybe look for a higher wattage

But if your going to have dual dvd-rw then any other PSU with cables exiting on the right is a no no

Yeah I'd g for the Seasonic, it's a good fit, and they're solid.

Just so you know the aspire psus now come with 24pin plugs, but they are not suitable for your spec (the 12v rails are not very powerful) and the seasonic is a good choice.

I would recommend replacing the 120mm aspire case fan with something like an akasa amber, the aspire fans are loud.
