I am currently in the about to order stage for my nieces build on another post, hoping to finalise the parts for that today.

Now in that post i had mentioned building my own new build, but i started to get confused and was merging them all together so thought i would separate my build to its own post. As the title suggests i want to spend between £1500 and £2000 if i can (if going over slightly is worth it then i am willing to do it), i have a 5060ti 16gb sitting that can be put in, but also thinking of keeping that in my current machine that I'm gonna pass to my nephew.

what would you suggest put an AMD GPU to match the AMD CPU that i think i want to go with this build. Its going to be used literally for gaming (i play literally a mix of everything), and the normal internet browsing etc.

sorry for splitting the posts, i was just confusing myself in the original post. Cheers everyone for hopefully understanding.

AMD 9070XT or Nvidia 5070Ti paired with a AM5 B850 board and a AMD 9800X3D CPU, a new mid range PSU, 32-64GB 6000MHz ram, a case of your choice. Done.

Is a Ryzen 9 9900X3D or Ryzen 9 9950X3D worth the extra cost at this stage or is that safe to leave for the time being?

ive literally built one this week for myself and very impress with the power and performace at this early stage.

9800x3d , 5070TI , B850 board and 32gb 6000mhz CL30.

Those being the main components in my build, if you had the fund and watched to push it maybe swap to a 5080 for sure
